Julia has spent the majority of her career in nonprofit and academic medical settings, living and working across the United States. An experienced human resources professional, she brings her knowledge of management and workplace best practices to guide others through any situation. In 2023 she launched her own business, Madrone Coaching & Consulting, to reach a wider audience and support individual and organizational growth in a variety of industries.

Julia received her performance and leadership coaching certification from Brown University’s School of Professional Studies and ACT Leadership, and her Human Resources certification from MRA. She earned her BA in History from the University of Puget Sound. She currently resides in the Puget Sound area with her husband, three children, and dog.
